StartUp Croydon Spotlight: Fredicia Davies, Founder of Minted Flamingo
This month we are shining the light on our tenant member Minted Flamingo.
Founder Fredicia Davies is at the start of her entrepreneurial journey and although not unique, she has impressed us with her work ethic and can do approach to life. With a fulltime job in the tech world and a young family, she has recently started her own side hustle thinking long term about her future.
Fredicia started Minted Flamingo as a digital agency in 2017 and just before the pandemic has incorporated printing services to compliment her design work. Throughout the pandemic, she has grown the business by 50%, through marketing and word of mouth. As a tech professional she has taken advantage of SEO, email campaigns and social media; to elevate her rankings and has gained traction during a time when other industries have struggled.
Minted Flamingo provides Business Design and Consultancy. This includes a wide range of services including business change and project management, web design, marketing and branding.
Fredicia’s advice to other ambitious entrepreneurs is to network and talk to more strangers; they could be your future collaborator or client.
Fredicia explained what having an office at Weatherill house means to peace and focus! She says that the office became her getaway, enabling her to focus on business.
At present Minted Flamingo is working with clients from all sectors, within the local Croydon area.
