We aim to provide a central hub of start-up services to ensure that budding entrepreneurs and those looking to branch into self-employment are given the very best opportunity to do so.  Using our extensive knowledge and that of professionals within the business community, we are committed to offering help and support services throughout the first few years of a new company’s life.

Award Winning Service:

We are the Accredited Enterprise Agency for Croydon and have supported approximately 15,000 start-ups and SMEs across 3 decades. We were named Enterprise Support Organisation of the Year 2016 at the National Enterprise Network awards, as well as being highly commended in the Enterprise Communicator of the Year category.  In 2010 our endeavours earned us the title of Best Business Customer Service from South London Business Awards and prior to that Best Non-Profit Making Organisation 2006 from Best of Borough.  We are also accredited “Investors in People” and are proud to run projects such as SEEK Social Enterprise, together with providing ongoing support for the Young Enterprise Scheme and, more broadly, the Croydon community as a whole.

Our Unique Business Model:

Originally established over 30 years ago as Croydon’s enterprise agency, formerly known as Croydon Business Venture (CBV), the organisation has been operating as a charity since 2012 and this puts us in the enviable position that, as a self-funding organisation, we can offer high quality training, mentoring and advice to those who need it – free of charge.  We are also able to heavily subsidise our business support services and office space, including 60 offices across 2 sites in the Croydon area.  In turn, the funds that we accrue from our business services are used to train and mentor the next wave of budding entrepreneurs.

Come and Visit Us:

We understand how daunting it is to start your own business and we often host or run business advice and networking events at our office base in Croydon.  Events are regularly posted on our website and are free to attend.  It’s a great way of mixing with other people who are, or have been, in the same position.  You will always receive a warm welcome from us and our visitors, in addition to which you will begin to build great business relationships – we very much look forward to seeing you.
