StartUp Croydon at PrideFest 2018

This summer saw StartUp Croydon making their mark on the Croydon Pride Festival that took place in Wandle Park on Saturday 14th July. The aim of the day was to speak to as many people as possible about our training courses and visitors to the Festival did not disappoint. Starting your own business can be a daunting process, but with support from StartUp Croydon, there are services available to give small and micro businesses the best possible chance of success.
An advantage of having a pitch at a festival event is that every enquiry is genuine, and we were able to explain that our services are for everyone, as long as they can spare the time.
The day was hot and sunny with a great vibe and bright colours worn by festival-goers and local constabulary who were present in the park. The stalls were in an excellent position so that we all felt as though we were a part of the event and there was a continuous footfall throughout the day. All in all, this proved to be a very good day for StartUp Croydon and put the brand out locally as the go-to place for training and mentoring in Croydon.
