Two things make me tingle:

  1. Seeing the change in our clients as they go from “what do we do?” to “Look what we’ve achieved!”. Helping them along that journey is a real thrill.
  2. Watching the numbers. A bit geeky I know, but seeing real growth in a client’s business gives me goosebumps.

I’ve been working in the small business world since the turn of the century, with another 14 years’ customer-facing experience before that.

For the last few years, I’ve also been a Young Enterprise Advisor, helping teams of schoolchildren develop and run their own small businesses.
