UK wines are becoming increasingly popular and if you and the people you know are wine lovers, why not visit West Fisher Winery near Biggin Hill this December where they will be happy to arrange a bespoke wine tasting event with food (there’s also a range of ciders, beers and ales available – please discuss your requirements with Simon Fisher who will be happy to put the event together for you).
For those of us living and/or working in Croydon we are lucky enough to be in a borough that’s situated within easy reach of both the City and the countryside. On our borders there are some beautiful nature reserves for those who enjoy a good ramble and golf courses for the more competitive among us – one of which is owned by Farleigh Golf Club, lying between Selsdon and Warlingham.
Flagging up Farleigh for November and December is a must because there’s more than just a party at the clubhouse this season and there’s something for everyone:
Christmas Market (Wed 20 Nov)
Wednesday 20 November 2019, 6.30-9.30pm.
Join the Farleigh Team for an evening of carols, mulled wine & mince pies as you tick off your shopping list at the annual Christmas Market.

Supper with Santa (17 & 18 Dec)
Are you on Santa’s ‘nice’ list this year? Find out when the man in red and his elves visit Farleigh. Includes a hot meal, drink and gifts for the children.
£15 per person per event, Pre-booking required.
4.30pm – 6.30pm
Breakfast with Santa (23 Dec)
Join Santa and his elves for a choice of a cooked breakfast, cereals, pancakes, fruit and drinks.
£15 per person per event, pre-booking required. Each child receives a small gift.
9.30am – 11am
In addition, there are December celebration packages from £20-£24pp for a festive lunch (private suites available), evening parties and obviously Christmas and Boxing Day menus.
