Within the next few weeks Croydon Council are launching a scheme to support women who are interested in a career in the construction sector. There’s an information day scheduled for 15th January, but if you’re unable to attend it’s still possible to register onto the programme (to be repeated every quarter) by contacting Annabel Sobers-Richards of Croydon Works, whose details appear at the bottom of this news blog.
We’re delighted to announce Croydon Council’s new programme ‘She Constructs’ a construction initiative designed for Croydon women.
Working in conjunction with some of Croydon’s largest construction and development companies Croydon Works will deliver a 4 week programme, aimed at women interested in propelling or forging a career within the construction sector.
Included in the 4 week employability programme, are networking opportunities for participants and employers, CSCS card training and test, in addition to a guaranteed 2 week work placement with a construction company.
To find out more about this exciting opportunity, come join us at our ‘She Constructs’ – Information session taking place on Wednesday 15th January 2020.
Please do tell your friends and family.
We look forward to seeing you there!
