On The Road to Make Change Happen

Since the beginning of 2018 we’ve been busy recruiting for the second year intake for our social enterprise project – SEEK – and have already seen a range of great ideas and initiatives from local people who are looking to set up a business that trades to help resolve a social issue such as homelessness or youth unemployment.
But we haven’t just waited for these social entrepreneurs to come to us for information – we’ve been out and about across the borough.
From our first roadshow at Crisis Skylight Croydon https://www.crisis.org.uk/get-help/croydon/ who help the homeless or those at risk of becoming homeless on 17 January to the LWS Charity Café in Crystal Palace http://www.livingwatersatisfies.org.uk/ who help women leaving refuge into employment on 21 February, we’ve met some inspiring and passionate people who want to Make Change Happen in Croydon.
But don’t think you have missed the boat – it’s not too late to find out more and apply!
If you are unemployed or not in work because you are a carer, a student or full-time parent and you want to make a difference through a business or enterprise, find out more details here https://startupcroydon.co.uk/training-and-mentoring/seek-project/ and get in contact with us for an application form or an informal chat about the project which includes
