Managing Your Money During COVID-19 – A Quick Overview on Repayment Holidays

During this Coronavirus pandemic, there are a lot of things that can cause you stress and managing personal finances is just one of them. And being able to manage your personal finances is a strong foundation for understanding and managing your business finances.
That’s why one of our Building Business Horizons participants – Subira Jones – has embarked on her business MPWRD Living and has created a free guide to what is available to help you manage your finances with a focus on repayment holidays. We asked her to introduce herself and explain what she is doing.
My name is Subira Jones, founder of MPWRD. I am a corporate hippie, with a professional
background in Investment Reporting, advocating for Employee Wellbeing and Diversity & Inclusion in the Asset and Wealth Management world.
I also work 121 with private clients, creating solutions to their stressful situations. After being diagnosed with rapidly evolving RR Multiple Sclerosis, I took a career break from the investment industry to regain my holistic health and take back my personal power.
During this time, I developed the MPWRD Living approach. This approach allowed me to increase my capacity to effectively manage stressful situations, improve my mental wellbeing, master my emotions and regain my physical health. Part of the approach is building financial health.
Being a personal finance nerd allowed me to be able to resign from my job at the time I desperately needed to. Good financial health reduces stress and allows you to feel empowered to live the life you want, a life conducive to your health.
At MPWRD, we equip you with the necessary tools to reinstate your personal power, by creating solutions to your stressful situations, putting you back in the driving seat of your life.
This free booklet will give you an easy breakdown of different repayment holidays available from UK banks during the Covid-19 pandemic. This information was updated last on the 16th April. Links to the banks’ Covid-19 support website has been included so you can stay up to date on their response and support.
You can download the guide here, however, it is time bound and some of the information is likely to change by the end of April.
