Launch event for hot-desking facility

Office space which has been transformed to provide hot-desking facilities for local start-ups is being unveiled at a breakfast networking meeting on Friday, April 8.

Croydon Business Venture will be showcasing Launch Pad, its brand new flexible workspace at Weatherill House Business Centre from 8.30am to 10.30am.

The aim is to help entrepreneurs and those with a business idea to create a fully functioning business by providing tailor-made and affordable hot-desking packages.

David Robinson, chairman of Croydon Business Venture, said: “We have over 30 years of experience in successfully supporting entrepreneurs but, just like those we support, we see being innovative as a key part of what we do.

“That is why we have come up with this unique offer. In the words of one of our founder members Geoffrey Dove, Launch Pad is yet another initiative that we have come up with to turn our business acorns into fully-fledged oak trees.”

Mr Robinson will also use the event, which features breakfast and refreshments, to outline Croydon Business Venture’s plans for 2016.

There will also be a talk by Rose Farrar of LoveLocalJobs.com who will be outlining how the jobs board can benefit the local community and unveiling the ‘Be the Change’ project, an inspirational programme designed to help young people fulfil their potential and improve their life chances.
