Join Us at Croydon PrideFest – Wandle Park – Saturday 13th July

Last year we took a stall in the business section of the Croydon PrideFest event at Wandle Park (MAP).  This year the event will be based at the same beautiful venue and plans are afoot to make it much much bigger and better than last year, with 2 stages!

StartUp Croydon will be manning a stall on the day, speaking to the general public about everything that we can offer to support start-up businesses in the local area and beyond.  There will be a whole business area within the park, and if last year is anything to go by, we will all provide lots of sweet treats and fun as well valuable information.

PrideFest is for everyone and aims to bring together all facets of our diverse and multi-cultural community in a day (and night) of celebration, amazing acts, food and drink offerings and more.  Appearing on the day, you can expect to see:

• Lady Leshurr (mobo award winner)
• Soju (from reality TV’s RuPaul’s Drag Race)
• David McAlmont (Croydon’s very own singer/songwriter)
• Son of a Tutu
• Abalicious
• Kym Mazelle
• Asifa Lahore
• Danny Beard
• The London Mozart Players with Silverstone
• Bugeye
• Batty Mama
• Miss Prince
• Bellavie Lady Bee
• DJ Ritu

And there are many more yet to be announced, in addition to which, Croydon’s favourite spoken word group, Well Versed Ink, will be running spoken word workshops in the park during the afternoon.
