Discipline and Grievance – 16th January 2019 (9.30am – 12.30pm) – Sutton
Handling discipline and grievance issues can be costly and time consuming. With consequences both financially and in terms of your reputation, it is imperative that you follow a timely, fair and legal process. Knowing the steps to achieve this is key to minimising risk. In this informative and interactive workshop, we will follow our characters, Harry and Larry, through a disciplinary procedure. Throughout, we’ll be observing the Acas framework, covering suspension, investigation, disciplinary hearing and decisions, appeals and the keeping of appropriate records.
Emergency First Aid at Work – 23rd January 2019 (9.30am – 12.30pm) – Sutton
This HSE approved one day course will provide theoretical and practical training in basic life saving first aid. At the end of the course, delegates will be trained to act as an Emergency First Aider in their workplace. Every employer, even those with fewer than 5 employees, must carry out an assessment of the risk in their workplace and must decide what level of first aid provision they must provide. Issues to consider could include the type of work activities taking place, what possible injuries might occur, the size and layout of the workplace, and the proximity to emergency services. Consideration must also be given to making sure that there is a sufficient number of trained personnel to cover absences such as sickness and annual leave. All delegates are assessed and on passing, receive a certificate which is valid for 3 years.
Effective Time Management – 13th February 2019 (9.30am – 12.30pm) – Beckenham

In every aspect of life, we find that the highest achievers manage their time particularly well and while it may seem like we are all working, there is a difference between being busy and being effective and good time management is what makes that difference. This workshop is designed to introduce some time management strategies to help you prioritise and allocate your time more effectively to enable you to achieve your goals. The workshop is aimed at line managers and supervisors who have the responsibility of the day-to-day management of others. The workshop is also useful if you want to improve your own time management skills.

It is often not what you say but how you say it, that communicates your true meaning. This interactive workshop is designed to give you the skills to improve your communication skills by learning how to use body language effectively, communicate assertively and display confidence in conversations, meetings and presentations.
Effective Team Leadership – 13th March 2019 (9.30am – 12.30pm) – Beckenham
