The UK Office for National Statistics reported that in the year ending March 2018, 4.5 million cybercrimes were committed in England and Wales during the twelve month period. Individuals and businesses are far more likely to fall victim to cybercrime than any other form of crime in the UK.  In 2017 over 17 million residents were victims of cybercrime with around £130 billion being stolen.  In that same year, 2 in 5 businesses were the subject of some form of cybercrime with an average cost of circa £3,000 per business, but with some losing everything as a result.

With statistics like these, can you afford not to attend?  Delivered by PC Services who are our own IT service provider and specialise in areas such as Back-up and Disaster Recovery – they are all too well aware of the aftermath of Cybercrime.  And Rajan Amin of Coversure, one of the leading Cyber Insurers in Croydon.

Top Tip:  Remember that everyone is human.  Your staff are less likely to report a breach to you if they think they will get into trouble.  The sooner an attack is detected, the less damage will be done.  Make your staff aware of cybercrime and make sure they know they can talk to you about it without reprisals.
