The Croydon Business Excellence Awards, the largest and most prestigious of their kind in the fast-growing south London borough, have been reinvented for this year as the Croydon Business Resilience Awards 2021. Businesses across the borough are invited to apply to the free and easy to enter awards categories through this website.
The Croydon Business Resilience Awards 2021 will reflect the challenges and opportunities that businesses have faced during the pandemic and acknowledge how they have adapted and innovated to ensure they survive through lockdown.
This year there is also an option to nominate a business that you feel has risen above and beyond the Covid19.

- From the challenges of COVID-19, came opportunities and new business growth. Closure of some sectors opened avenues in others and many new and varied start-up businesses were established in the borough.This award seeks to recognise enterprise and entrepreneurial spirit, a culture which is perhaps now more important than ever, to assist the borough’s economic recovery.

Young persons contribution
- Young people are among the most affected, economically and socially, by COVID-19. This award seeks to acknowledge their particular circumstances but also their resilience and adaptability.It is an appreciation of those who may have contributed to a business in a significant way during the pandemic, perhaps as an employee, entrepreneur, apprentice, or part of the Kickstart or other scheme.It will also recognise those young people without a job, or on furlough, who have given their time and skills to support their community through COVID-19
