Croydon Chamber of Commerce makes Weatherill House Business Centre its new home
Croydon Business Venture is delighted the borough’s leading networking organisation has chosen its state-of-the-art premises to be its new home.
Croydon Chamber of Commerce is leaving Leon House to set up at Weatherill House Business Centre which is operated by Croydon Business Venture, the accredited Enterprise Agency for the borough.
The Chamber has been supporting the local business community for more than 100 years and has more than 300 members.
“It makes absolute sense for Croydon Chamber of Commerce to be based at Weatherill House Business Centre with Croydon Business Venture,” said Annabel Fogden, general manager of the Chamber.
“We share the same ambition to help businesses grow in Croydon and our respective services complement each other very well.”
Croydon Business Venture has been at the forefront in providing training and support or the creation and development of new businesses for more than 30 years.
It moved into its state-of-the-art premises at Weatherill House Business Centre, a few minutes’ walk from Wandle Park tram stop, towards the end of 2013 where it provides cost effective offices, training and mentoring for start-ups and small businesses.
“We are delighted to welcome Croydon Chamber of Commerce to Weatherill House Business Centre,” said David Robinson, chairman of Croydon Business Venture.
“Having both of the borough’s leading business support agencies under one roof can only be good news both for our tenants and the wider Croydon business community as a whole.”
