Coast to Capital – Brexit & Growth Support/Funding for Croydon Businesses

This is the latest update of the support that Coast to Capital LEP and the Coast to Capital Growth Hub Team are providing to businesses in response to the COVID19 pandemic, as well as the post UK Transition from the EU.
Growth Hub Brexit Transition Support Overview
Over the past two years, our Growth hub has been at the frontline of supporting local businesses, expertly positioned to help businesses address the challenges faced by the UK’s transition from the EU.
As a strategic and constructive partner, we worked closely with government to help businesses prepare for the transition at the end of last year. This has continued to pose a significant challenge for unprepared businesses in the early months of 2021, and we have remained committed to providing impartial and free advice to help businesses adapt.

Peer Networks 2 Programme
Peer Networks is a national peer-to-peer networking programme which brings
together SME business leaders that want to grow and develop their organisations for future success and is fully funded by the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy.
Delivered locally by the Coast to Capital Growth Hub, they create diverse cohort groups of business leaders to collaboratively work through common business issues. Through interactive peer learning, they enable you to discuss your own challenges, gain and reflect on valuable feedback and implement practical solutions to overcome them. More information is available online here.
The programme will be launched on Saturday 1 May and the first Cohorts will begin in June 2021. Businesses can apply by following the application form here.
Growth Relationship Manager Business Support
Our team of Growth Relationship Managers work with businesses to assess their needs and introduce solutions. They can help identify potential sources of funding, facilitate growth strategies and connect clients with partner providers of support.
The Growth Relationship Managers undertake a structured review to identify the key areas to address to realise the business’s growth ambitions. Following the review the Growth Hub team can fund a day of a specialist’s time in a key identified area.
Our Growth Relationship Team Leader, Ryan Davies, heads up the Brighton, Worthing and Adur area as well as the East Surrey, Gatwick and Crawley area. With Karen Tyrrell covering the Arun, Chichester, Horsham and Mid Sussex area.
