Celebrating Youth Power

  • News

This month we celebrate one of our small businesses at Weatherill House moving into a new office. Not just any office, but a space 3 times the size of where they started 4 years ago.

Youth PWR Charity is a youth development and empowerment charity supporting young people in engaging, inspiring and educating them; empowering them for a sustainable future.

Their vision is for a society where all young people are empowered to achieve their full potential, and shape the future with power and confidence.

As you can see their new office is an oasis of calm, offering an inspiring environment for their staff to work from and inspire their service users.

Youth PWR funds much of its activities through Sales of its Youth Empowerment Magazine PWR

I am incredibly proud of the journey we have embarked on over the past five years. We have seen tremendous growth and impact through our dedication to youth development and empowerment. Our own journey has been defined by this commitment, by creating bespoke initiatives that cater to the unique needs of young people.

Over the last couple of years, we have built a robust organisational structure that enables us to deliver meaningful programmes and initiatives that resonate with our community and stakeholders. As we begin on this new chapter, moving into a larger office space within Weatherill House, we are excited about the possibilities ahead.

Statement from Dee Onigbanjo

We are super grateful to Saffron and the team at Start-Up Croydon – Weatherill House for their tremendous support towards our growth over the years. As well as accommodating our growing team, our new space will also provide us with the environment needed to continue our mission of empowering young people and driving positive change, as we look forward to expanding our reach, deepening our impact, and creating even more opportunities for the young people we serve.”Read more about our activity through our recent Impact report

Youth PWR is a youth culture & lifestyle magazine and is one of the vehicles for skills development and youth voice. It is a tool for young people to express themselves, gain experience and support their CVs.

Youth PWR is an example of a young and creative organisation who are growing in our flexible and energised serviced office environment.

We are delighted to be able to freeze rents this year and enable our tenants to thrive when we know costs have increased in so many aspects of life.

If you are considering moving to a new office, we have the perfect solution, including a secure car park only 2 mins walk from Wandle Park tram. Get in touch why we still have space, to see if we can help you grow!
