Business Sales & Marketing Bootcamp – Thursday 27th August

The Business Sales & Marketing Bootcamp is designed to help you start a business, keep it going and continue to grow it.

Sales and marketing knowledge, skills and techniques are fundamental to developing your business, and this one-day Bootcamp session will help refresh your sales knowledge, look at your sales processes, develop a plan to reach your ideal audience, helping you to learn the principles of sales and polish up your marketing plans.

The Business Sales & Marketing Bootcamp includes the following modules:

  • How to fall in love with the sales process
  • Features & benefits – what problem are you solving for your client?
  • How to do marketing on a shoe-string
  • What is your Unique Selling Point? And how to hone delivery in your elevator pitch
  • How word-of-mouth advertising is still the most valuable tool
  • Networking techniques to help you succeed

In addition to the above, after the Bootcamp, each delegate will receive two 1-hour follow-up one-to-one sessions in the following weeks for bespoke advice.

Chelena is a visibility and LinkedIn strategist. She specializes in creating impactful strategies and managing the profiles of online and TV personalities. Dedicated to enhancing the digital presence of female entrepreneurs aged 45+, she helps them achieve visibility and success in the increasingly digital world.

In her session on “Using Digital Presence to Raise Your Profile” she will guide participants through the essentials of building a strong online presence. Participants will learn how to optimise their LinkedIn profiles for maximum impact, utilise video content to enhance visibility, and employ SEO tactics to increase their discoverability online.

Saffron Saunders,
Startup Croydon, CEO

Saffron is a well-known face in the business support arena having been in the South London business community since 2013. As a key stakeholder, Saffron is able to bring in key players to help Start Up Croydon move into the digital age, supporting our economy and delivering excellence.

Saffron will deliver a session to help improve confidence in selling, teaching techniques to help you feel more empowered to drive your business forward. She will also offer tips on networking, both in person and online.

Dee, Trustee, Startup Croydon

Dee Miller is an experienced business consultant as well as a Croydon resident. Dee is the founder of SIEGE, a business development, strategy and problem-solving consultancy. SIEGE is dedicated to solving private and public sector problems in design, technology and social. He has overseen key projects with the NHS, Universal Music, Warner Music, Wedlake Bell and many more.

Dee will deliver a session to help you understand the importance of branding and identity. This will be an interactive session to finish the day on a high.

Cost: Business Sales & Marketing one-day Bootcamp costs only £20 per person, including VAT.

Location: StartUp Croydon Business Centre, Weatherill House, 23 Whitestone Way, Croydon.

Times: Registration on the day is strictly 9:30 am, and the sessions will end at around 4.30 pm.
