Business Finance Bootcamp – 30th November 2023
The Business Finance Bootcamp is designed to help you start a business, keep it going and continue to grow it.
Finances are often the last thing business owners want to look at or consider, but making money is the fundamental reason most people go into business.
Digital technology has revolutionised the way we manage accounts, and with the government now making tax digital, keeping digital records is actually a legal requirement.
This one-day Bootcamp will help you to stay organised, legal and compliant, and you may even enjoy making the numbers work.
The Business Finance Bootcamp includes the following modules:
- We will look at start-up costs and funding, including the many different options for raising funds
- What is profit, and how to develop a Profit & Loss (P&L) forecast
- How digital Technology has changed the way we run accounts
- The many different digital apps and how they help, including expenses, accounting, bookkeeping and payroll
- A presentation from a local, successful entrepreneur about developing experts around you to deliver success
In addition to the above, each delegate will receive a follow-up one-to-one session.
Cost: Business Sales & Marketing one-day Bootcamp costs only £20 per person, including VAT.
Location: StartUp Croydon Business Centre, Weatherill House, 23 Whitestone Way, Croydon.
Times: Registration on the day is strictly 9:30 am, and the sessions will end at around 4.30 pm.

Ben is StartUp Croydon’s Operations Manager and oversees all activity at Weatherill House, including managing the accounts and facilities. Ben is a constant familiar face to our tenants and service users and is the first to offer support to anyone that needs it.
His session on funding covers the best ways to access finance for your business, as well as deciding whether you need it at all.
