Building Business Horizons – 6 Months Intensive Training for Free & A Chance to Win £500 of Seed Funding

We are very excited to be launching our new enhanced training scheme: Building Business Horizons.  The pilot, which is supported by Croydon Council, is due to go live in May.  Applications have now closed but we are still able to add late comers to a waiting list.  Please note that only those who have attended and completed our 3-day business training course are eligible to apply.  The scheme is available to anyone, from any business sector and in any area of the UK – providing you can commit just a day each month to take part

We are offering a six-month programme of seminars and workshops covering subjects that are highly relevant to not only commercial businesses but also social enterprises.  Our core training modules give access to in-depth information on topics such as Demystifying the Business Plan, Finance & Budgets and Social Media while complementary subjects can be dipped into as required and cover Pitching, Selling, Ideas Generation and Social Impact.

At the end of the pilot in October, businesses who have completed at least 80% of the core modules (1 per month) will have the opportunity to pitch for £500 of seed funding and we are hoping to support up to 10 businesses in this way.
