A prosperous 2016 with Croydon Business Venture
A number of initiatives are being launched by Croydon Business to help local entrepreneurs enjoy a prosperous 2016.
Croydon Business Venture Breakfast meetings, an ideal opportunity to network and meet likeminded entrepreneurs, will be launched soon along with a new hot-desking facility which will provide an innovative way to use office facilities as and when you need it.
The accredited Enterprise Agency for Croydon, Croydon Business Venture is also teaming up with the Business Navigator Growth Hub service to ensure local organisations have all the information and advice they need to progress their business.
All this is in addtion to existing priorities, which include providing cost-effective services offices for start-ups and providing training and mentoring such as its hugely successful three-day new business seminars, which take place each month and were fully subscribed last year.
Meanwhile, budding entrepreneurs can get advice on raising the finance they need to make their business success by taking part in a free NatWest Funding Workshop at Weatherill House Business Centre on February 16. Anyone interested is advised to book now as places are strictly limited.
David Robinson, chairman of Croydon Business Venture, said: “Since forming in 1983, with founder Bernard Weatherill’s vision for growing business acorns into oak trees, we have hoped hundreds of entrepreneurs to flourish by being innovative in our approach.
“We are committed to continuing and extending that success story and helping those acorns to grow into businesses which employ hundreds of people. We have a number of other initiatives in the pipeline, all with the aim for ensuring Croydon start-ups and small businesses enjoy an even more prosperous 2016.”
