Coast to Capital funding to help Croydon businesses grow

Croydon’s SMEs are being invited to apply for funding of between £15,000 and £100,000 in the latest round of grants being offered by Coast to Capital.

Targets sectors for the latest round of the organisation’s Business Growth Grants are advanced engineering, environmental, manufacturing, creative digital and IT, and healthcare.

The programme is aimed at eligible SMEs, of up to 249 staff, in the Coast to Capital area – which includes Croydon.

Geoff Ranson of StartUp Croydon – a Croydon Business Venture, said: “Business can apply for up to 40 per cent of the capital costs and growth that will generate jobs but who are finding it difficult to secure investment funding from mainstream sources.

“Interested businesses are invited to submit expressions of interest by September 30 and we would urge all eligible businesses in Croydon to investigate further.”
